Every marketing email contains an unsubscribe link, and you can also withdraw your consent at any time by emailing info@catqwea.com. Withdrawing consent does not affect emails about an order you have already placed, since those are needed to complete your purchase.
COOKIES
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to make the site work, to remember what is in your basket, to analyse traffic and to measure the performance of our advertising.
Essential cookies are needed for the website and the checkout to function and are always active. Analytics and advertising cookies are only placed after you have given consent through our cookie banner. HOW WE SHARE YOUR DATA
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only where it is necessary, with the following categories of recipients:
Payment providers, to process your payment securely. We do not store your full card details ourselves.
Suppliers, warehouses and carriers, to pick, pack and deliver your order to your address.

Every party that processes personal data on our behalf does so under a data processing agreement that requires them to protect your data and to use it only for the purpose we have agreed.
TRANSFERS OUTSIDE THE EUROPEAN ECONOMIC AREA
Your order is handled within the European Union. Some of the service providers we use may store or process data outside the European Economic Area. Where that happens, we make sure your data remains protected through the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission or another lawful transfer mechanism.
HOW WE PROTECT YOUR DATA

Account details are kept for as long as your account is active, and are deleted on request.
Customer service messages are kept for up to two years after our last contact.

Under the GDPR you have the following rights:
The right of access, to receive a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
The right to rectification, to have incorrect or incomplete data corrected.
The right to erasure, to have your data deleted where we have no legal ground to keep it.
The right to restrict processing, to limit how we use your data.
The right to data portability, to receive your data in a common, machine readable format.
The right to object, to processing based on our legitimate interest, and to direct marketing at any time.
The right to withdraw consent, at any time, where our processing is based on consent.
To exercise any of these rights, email us at info@catqwea.com. We will respond within one month. We may ask you to confirm your identity first, so that we do not release data to the wrong person.
If you are not satisfied with how we handle your data or your request, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, at autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl. We would appreciate the chance to resolve it with you first.
CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this privacy policy from time to time, for example when we change the tools we use or when the law changes. The current version is always published on this page, with the date it was last updated at the top. Significant changes will be communicated on our website.
